ศึกษาศักยภาพของทรัพยากรมนุษย์ โดยเฉพาะเกษตรกรหญิงในพื้นที่ชนบท โดยมองว่านอกเหนือจากปัจจัยพื้นฐาน อาทิ อายุ การศึกษา ความสามารถทางการเงิน แรงจูงใจ และความตั้งใจแล้ว การปรับเปลี่ยนทัศนคติของกลุ่มเกษตรกรก็เป็นเรื่องสำคัญสำหรับการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ และสังคมของครัวเรือนในชนบท โดยเห็นได้จากรายได้, ทรัพย์สิน, การออม และการใช้จ่ายเพื่อการบริโภคของครัวเรือนที่เพิ่มขึ้น นอกจากนั้นงานวิจัยยังกล่าวถึงความสำคัญและบทบาทขององค์กรและสถาบันสาธารณะรวมถึงการสนับสนุนที่ดีจากรัฐบาล องค์กรพัฒนาเอกชน และสถาบันการเงิน
Abstract:
Exploring the potential of the human resource particularly the women farmers in the rural areas is an essential for faster sustainable economic development. It is quite clear that rural entrepreneurship cannot be developed without significant change in attitude of rural women active support of the Government. This study was conducted in Dharmapuri District of Tamil Nadu by selecting 100 farmers cum entrepreneurs in the district. The study revealed that the major factors which influence to become entrepreneurs are age , education, financial facility, motivation and intension. It is clear that the socio economic condition of the rural households can be increased by becoming women entrepreneur. It increased the number of man days of employment opportunity to the extent of 58.06 per cent and income of the household by 59.01 percent. It also increased the asset position, savings as well as the consumption expenditure. The study revealed the importance and role of the public organizations and institutions such as the Agricultural Departments and NGO’s in creating the women entrepreneur. Therefore, to develop entrepreneurship among rural women an intensive training is needed to motivate the women in rural India along with a good supporting system from Government, NGOs, and Financial institutions
